EMA Industries LLC was established in California in 2021 to provide specialized nondestructive testing for railroad infrastructure. The company was built around deep technical experience in ultrasonic examination and a clear purpose: help owners and contractors identify hidden discontinuities before they develop into operational, safety, or quality concerns.

EMA’s capabilities include hyrail ultrasonic rail flaw detection, manual rail scanning, weld examination, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and NDT Level III technical support. Our field personnel are qualified for the methods they perform and work under documented procedures, applicable acceptance criteria, and Level III oversight.

As a small, owner-led company, EMA combines technical accountability with responsive project coordination. We support work in Southern California and mobilize for projects throughout the United States.

EMA is led by experienced professionals in nondestructive testing, railroad inspection, quality systems, compliance, and field operations. Our technical program is supported by an ASNT NDT Level III, and examinations are performed by qualified NDT personnel using calibrated equipment and controlled procedures.
